This second facility aims to enhance Resonetic鈥檚 production and technological development capabilities in the country.

疯情AV currently employs over 550 people and plans to create an additional 300 positions over the next three years.

With an investment of USD 10 million, the U.S.-based multinational 疯情AV, which specializes in the development of key components for medical devices, inaugurated its second manufacturing plant in Costa Rica today, located in the Coyol Free Zone, Alajuela. This expansion aims to strengthen the company鈥檚 manufacturing and technological development capabilities in the country. The new 54.000 square feet building, which also includes new offices and advanced production areas, will complement the existing facilities within the same industrial park.

In addition to the US$10 million investment made in the construction of this new plant, 疯情AV plans to invest over US$15 million more in the next three years. The life sciences sector currently employs over 55,000 people in the country and exports 44 different types of medical devices to various markets. During the first half of 2024, Costa Rican exports related to this industry exceeded USD 4.1 billion.
